Bitter-Sweet

Well I had to say goodbye to my brother Jim today. He left to move down to Lubbock, Texas to attend Texas Tech University to earn his masters in children and family therapy. It was really hard for me to say goodbye to Jim, his wife Yvonne and my cute niece Elise. I know they will do great in Texas but I don't know how great we will do here without them! That was the bitter news, as far as the sweet, Johnny and I will be having a second child in February. Mackenzie was also a February baby and I would rather not have them share the same month, but I shared a birthday month with my brother Steve and we seemed to manage great. I am looking forward to this delivery knowing that I can schedule my c-section and not push my guts out for hours on end this time around! We will see how I can manage two children, people seem to do it all the time and survive..... wish me luck :)

Where oh where has all the time gone? Unfortunately we have not been able to do much vacationing or anything exciting this summer since I was finishing a class at school. I was able to go with my mom down to Vegas to pick up my sister-in-law so Mackenzie had fun with her cousin playing in the pool in St. George where we stayed the night. I did just finish Breaking Dawn for all those that are fans. I loved it but I know many would disagree with me so I feel like the odd man out. Oh well, happy ending for me! :) And now it is August and school is starting around the corner...
