Update

We had Johnny's Dad's surprise birthday party in March. It was a lot of fun to see everyone and their families.

Johnny with his two brothers and sister. His dad lives in Tennessee and he brought his mom, Johnny's grandma out with him, I never met her before since she lives in Massachusetts so it was great to meet her, she is very nice!

A picture of my happy Gage, I just love this kid!

Grandma Kathie with my niece Elise on her first birthday! She always has the cutest clothes and shoes.. she will have to take Kenzie shopping when they are older since I know she will have a great fashion sense!

Happy Birthday to Kenzie and Gage!!

It has been SO long since I have blogged anything! But I am back to update finally. Mackenzie's birthday was on Feb. 9th. She turned 4! She had picked to go bowling for her birthday this year.

She loves Barbie's right now and especially the movie Diamond Castle with Barbie in it so she was surprised to see she got the actual castle from the movie.

Here is Kenz at the Bowling "Isle" (Alley) as what she kept calling it all day on her birthday.

Then on Feb. 17th, only 8 days later we went to the hospital to have our baby boy, Gage! Here I am right before the scheduled c-section, we had to be there at 5 am, waaay to early for me.

Gage Ellsworth Hastings was born at 6:54 am, he weighed 7lb 8oz and was 19" long. His middle name is a family name on Johny's side that has been passed down. I could not have asked for a better delivery, everything went smoothly and I felt like a million bucks compared to Mackenzie's delivery.

Here is all of us with our sweet new baby!

Mackenzie is so proud to be a big sister.

Here is Gage at about 3 weeks old, looking a little more alert. I have to keep telling Kenzie that she cries more than her baby brother does, he is very quiet and Kenz was never like that as a baby, and still isn't to this day! :)

What's New....

I think time speeds up as soon as Halloween hits. I can't believe how fast the end of 2008 went by. The Holidays were great with family and now that 2009 is here it was all over way to fast. I am looking forward to this new year, I start Intermountain Healthcare's Nursing program through SLCC on the 16th of January. Yikes! And then February 17th, Gage (Johnny has won the war on his name) will be joining our family. I suddenly feel a little unprepared.

My brother was up visiting for Christmas from Texas, here is my niece, Elise!

Some of these pictures ended up blurry because I couldn't get Kenz to hold still for one second on Christmas morning. This year was by the far the funnest, she is really starting to get excited about Christmas and Santa, so it is really hard for us to not be excited and happy when she is so enthusiastic.

And of coarse a tribute to my brother Steve that died Christmas Eve two years ago. We miss him so much.
