The pool is now open at our clubhouse and it was finally hot enough to go out and enjoy it! Mackenzie can now swim on her own with her floaties on so it is a lot funner then last year was to take her to the pool because now mom and dad can swim without having her clinging on to dear life. Mackenzie's cousins Braylee and Bostyn came over to swim with us, it was a fun day! Maybe someday my brother will come over to swim, he keeps on promising, but we'll see..... :) Love ya Jim!

Kenzie with my sister-in-law Amberlie.

Kenzie also likes to use her noodle to paddle around on.

This is Braylee high in the air! She is an adrenaline junkie just like her dad...

And again....

As if being thrown just straight up in the air wasn't thrilling enough, she then got flipped backwards multiple times! She landed it really well, never letting go of that floatie.

Happy Birthday Johhny!

Well it was Johnny's birthday on Friday, May 30th. He turned 30 and so awhile back I decided, hey what a cool idea to throw him a surprise party. Well I have to say that it stresses me out to no end to plan parties or events, let alone a surprise party where you have to be top secret about it. I have to say that it turned out awesome, his friends and both our families showed up and we had a great time. I rented a room at Noah's in Lindon, it is next to my house. Johnny's brother and his wife brought him there using a fake story to get him in the building and when he got to the room he was taken completely by surprise! So all the planning and preparation was worth it for that one minute of complete shock he went through! I wish I had gotten more pictures of all that were there, but thanks to my brother-Jim you are awesome!- he had at least gotten a few since I was a little stressed out and not thinking about photos. Thanks to all that came and supported Johnny! I know he had an absolute blast.

Here is my sweet girl! She sure loves the camera, I should definitely take more pictures of her.

We have added a third bedroom to our townhome! It is Sadie's new bigger crate(the other was getting VERY cramped for her). It is the XL size and probably more square footage than most European studio apartments. I guess we will head to IKEA to furnish it for her. :) Ok not funny.

Ok last thing on the dog, she loves to play with her "ball", it was actually Kenzie's soccer ball that she adopted as her own. She will throw it up in the air and chase after it, it is pretty amusing to watch her get it in her mouth and trot around the yard!

Life happens

So I have been horrible about keeping up with my blog! I have now turned over a new leaf and I am going to stay on top of it... :)
As you all can tell I am still currently playing around with the background options. I still have no idea how to do it so I play with it until it changes. Bear with me until I actually know what I am doing to get the ones I like. You all have such cute backgrounds I have to learn quickly!
I will post some more pictures when I get home from work.. thanks Naomi for letting me use the internet! Everyones kidos are getting so big and even cutier than ever!

Precious

My brother, Jim, and his wife, Yvonne had their first baby on the 20th. Her name is Elise and I finally got some pics with her and Mackenzie. She has thick, thick red hair which she gets from her dad! It's so fun to be an aunt.

Sadie is 9 months old, I am posting this picture because I think it's funny. One of the rules of the house is she is not allowed on the furniture or beds. I think she thinks this is a good compromise and that technically she is not laying on the chair.

Easter

Easter was slow around here, I had to work and Johnny took Mackenzie down to the sand dunes for the weekend to go try out his new sandrail he got. We used to have 2 four-wheelers for us which I loved! But my husband gets the bug for something new and found a sandrail in California he wanted. So the four-wheelers are gone :( ,and the new sandrail is here. It is VERY green, a little too green for me but Johnny tells me it will grow on me. I have yet to drive it but maybe soon, before it's gone for something else....
